A New Generation for Homesteading
We are a small, family-owned and operated homestead located west of Waterloo, in Oregon. We didn't really grow up as farmers, so we know all about starting fresh and we want to help you do it, too! We are committed to growing fresh, organic, and seasonal produce, raising free-range chickens, and breeding pet rabbits for exceptional dispositions and cuteness. We have taught ourselves natural techniques in food preservation and canning and have a number of new, and passed-down recipes we'd love to share! Our passion for homesteading started with us and we are eager to pass it down and pay it forward. We believe in sustainability, husbandry, and all practices which prioritize the health of our family, our animals, our customers, and our environment.

At West of Waterloo, we are proud to be a small homestead that is dedicated to providing organic and fresh produce, raising free-range chickens, breeding the best rabbits, and using natural techniques for food preservation and canning. Our aim is to bring healthy and sustainable food options to the local community, and to provide people with the skills they need to grow relationships with nature and animals. ORGANIC, ETHICAL, & SUSTAINABLE PRACTICES
We are committed to using 100% organic, free-range and GMO-free products in our farming practices. We believe that healthy soil and foods lead to healthy plants and animals, which is why we prioritize soil health through natural techniques like crop rotation, companion planting, and composting. Our animals are raised in stress-free environments, the chickens are allowed to safely free-range, our rabbits are handled daily, and nothing is ever done in a hurry nor without thoughtfulness. We also use natural techniques for food preservation and canning to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and taste making them safe and enjoyable to consume for months (even years)!
